Aker ASA (Aker) is an industrial investment company with ownership interests concentrated in oil and gas, renewable energy and green technologies, maritime assets, marine biotechnology, and industrial software.

We exercise active ownership to create values, combining industrial expertise with financial strength and capital market expertise.

Through our board positions, we help to develop and strengthen each portfolio company by driving strategy developments, operational improvements, financing, restructurings and transactions.

Aker is the largest shareholder, directly or indirectly, in 13 companies listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, Euronext Expand Oslo or Euronext Growth Oslo at the end of March 2021. Aker and companies in which Aker is the largest investor had a total turnover of more than NOK 75 billion in 2020, and a workforce of approximately 28,000, including temporary hires. About 17,000 of the workforce is located in Norway.
