Dividend Policy and Right to a Dividend

Aker ASA strives to create value for its shareholders in the form of dividend payments and increased share value over time. In February 2006, the Board of Directors in Aker stated the following dividend policy:

"Aker ASA‘s dividend policy supports the company‘s intention to maintain a solid balance sheet and liquidity reserves adequate to handle future obligations. The company‘s objective is to pay annual dividends of 2-4 per cent of the company‘s value-adjusted equity."

Proposed dividend

In 2024, the board is proposing to distribute an ordinary dividend of NOK 15.50 per share for 2023. The board is further proposing that the Annual General Meeting authorizes the board to distribute an additional dividend in 2024 based on the 2023 annual accounts.

Announcement of dividends

Aker ASA will publish the proposed dividends from the Board of Directors in connection with the publication of annual results. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is responsible for the approval of the proposed dividends. Provided that the AGM approves the proposed dividends, they will be paid to shareholders approximately two weeks after the AGM.
